United Medical Group now offers telemedicine visits for patients who are unable to attend the office due to concerns over coronavirus.  Please contact the scheduling department to make a telemedicine appointment.

What you can expect during the visit:

A nurse will contact you at the time of the visit by phone.  The nurse will take your history and work through various questions related to any health issues you are experiencing.  Once the nurse had completed the visit, you will be asked to use any smart phone or computer with a webcam to click on your provider’s name listed at the bottom of this page.  Once you click the link, you will be asked to enter your name and then will be placed in a waiting room.  Once your provider is ready, they will enter the room and you will be able to communicate by voice and video chat.

Telemedicine visits are billed just like a regular office visit.  The provider may need to have lab work or other services done and will let you know how to safely come to the office to receive these services.

If you have any trouble accessing the telemedicine links, please call (913) 287-7800 and ask to be transferred to the nurse of the doctor that you are scheduled to have an appointment with.
